About the Composer: Justin Williams

Justin Williams combines formal training in arranging and composition with deep experience serving American high school band programs. A graduate of Jacksonville State University with degrees in Political Science and History, he has studied composition privately with Dr. William Jerryl Davis, Patrick Roszell, and Robert W. Smith. His arrangements have appeared in major collegiate marching programs, bowl game halftime shows, the Rose Bowl Parade, and the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Beyond his work as a composer and arranger, Williams teaches history and political science at Central Alabama Community College. He serves as staff arranger for the Belwin Division of Alfred Music and consults on programming for over thirty high school band programs across the country, bringing both musical craft and educational perspective to his compositions.
