Description

Vince Gassi has published over 100 compositions and arrangements since joining Alfred Music in 2006, building a reputation as a composer and arranger whose work appeals directly to young musicians. His training spans the University of Western Ontario, the Dick Grove School of Music in Los Angeles, and a Ph.D. from York University in Toronto. Over twenty-five years of classroom teaching at elementary and secondary levels informs his compositional voice; his pieces regularly appear on festival and contest programs across North America, Europe, and Japan.
Gassi's impact extends beyond the page. He serves as a frequent guest conductor, adjudicator, and clinician, and leads seminars on creative engagement and digital workflows for music directors.
