About the Composer: Rossano Galante
Rossano Galante studied trumpet performance at SUNY Buffalo, graduating in 1992, then became one of only nineteen international students accepted to the University of Southern California's Film Scoring Program that same year. There he studied under Jerry Goldsmith, the Academy Award-winning composer of The Omen. Since relocating to California in 1999, Galante has built a prolific career in film orchestration, serving as orchestrator on more than eighty studio films including Avengers: Age of Ultron, A Quiet Place, Logan, The Mummy, and The Super Mario Brothers Movie, while collaborating with Oscar-nominated composers Marco Beltrami, Brian Tyler, and Christophe Beck.
Beyond his film work, Galante has established himself as a sought-after concert composer, receiving commissions from bands and orchestras worldwide. His catalog includes over 68 published compositions across major publishers including Alfred, Schirmer, Hafabra, C.L. Barnhouse, Dehaske/Curnow, and Musikverlag Frank, bringing his cinematic sensibility and orchestral sophistication to the concert music world.
