Joseph M. Martin

Joseph M. Martin trained in piano performance at Furman University and earned his master's degree from the University of Texas at Austin, where he later taught in the Piano Pedagogy Department for five years. His career spans performance at major venues including Carnegie Hall and collaborations with symphony orchestras across the United States and Mexico, culminating in a win at the Nina Plant Wideman Competition that led to performances with the Guadalajara Symphony Orchestra.

Martin has shifted his artistic focus toward church music and worship settings, composing and arranging pieces heard in hundreds of congregations across the United States and Canada. He continues to live in Austin, Texas with his family while maintaining an active presence as both a performer and prolific composer.
