Anna Laura Page

Anna Laura Page studied vocal music education and piano at the University of Kentucky, then earned a master's degree in music theory with a focus on organ from the same institution. Her career spans composition, performance, and music education; she has served as an adjunct organ and theory instructor at Mercer University and Lander University, directed a community children's chorus in Tennessee, and contributed significantly to the 1991 Southern Baptist Hymnal as a member of its Music Committee.

Page's compositional output includes choral works for ensembles of all ages, pieces for handbells, and keyboard music for both church and concert settings. She has received the ASCAP Standards Award repeatedly and currently serves as Handbell Music Editor for Alfred Publishing Co., Inc. Her arrangements and original works reflect deep knowledge of both traditional hymn literature and contemporary sacred music needs.
