Melody Bober brings twenty years of public school teaching experience into every piece she writes, grounded in a deep understanding of how students learn and grow as musicians. She holds a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana (summa cum laude) and a Master of Arts in Piano Performance from Minnesota State University, Moorhead, where she studied under mentors including Joel Shapiro and Andrew Froelich.

Beyond her private studio in Minnesota, Melody has shaped young musicians in university settings and continues to be sought after as a clinician at piano teacher conferences across North America. Her work as a church pianist and music director informs her compositional voice: she understands what it takes to write music that both challenges and inspires students to play with intention.
