Joseph M. Martin holds degrees in piano performance from Furman University and the University of Texas at Austin, where he later taught in the Piano Pedagogy Department. His career spans both the concert hall and the church, with solo recitals and orchestral collaborations across the United States and Mexico, including a prize performance with the Guadalajara Symphony Orchestra.
Martin's compositional voice has reached audiences at Carnegie Hall, regional theaters, and countless worship spaces across North America. He maintains an active performing schedule while channeling much of his creative energy into sacred music and arrangements for church musicians. He lives in Austin, Texas with his family.
