Terry White brings three decades of classroom experience to his compositional work, having shaped instrumental programs throughout Maine while maintaining his own role in the Cape Elizabeth School District. His training spans both composition at Berklee College of Music and music education at the University of New Hampshire, grounding his writing in pedagogical insight. The Portland Symphony Orchestra and countless ensembles at the high school and college levels have performed his works, and he continues to lead his own big band in the Portland area.
