About the Composer: Dan Adams
Dan Adams spent nearly thirty years at Wooster City Schools in Ohio, where he directed the band and orchestra programs while serving as Instrumental Music Coordinator. Earlier in his career, he taught at Mount Anthony Union High School in Bennington, Vermont. He holds a Bachelor of Music Education from The Ohio State University (trombone) and a Master of Music in Band Conducting from Northwestern University, where he studied under John Paynter.
Throughout his career, Adams has worked extensively as an adjudicator, brass performer, and conductor. His compositions have been performed across the country and internationally, earning recognition at The Midwest Band Clinic, the Western International Band Clinic, and in Bandworld's Top 100, alongside numerous J.W. Pepper Editors' Choice selections.
