Carl Strommen stands among the most frequently performed composer-arrangers working today, with his output spanning band, orchestra, jazz ensemble, and choral music heard in concert halls, on television, and in film scores across North America and beyond. His work has earned him the ASCAP Standard Writers Award annually, reflecting the breadth and consistent quality of his catalog. A City College of New York alumnus, Strommen contributes to music education as an adjunct professor of orchestration and composition at C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University.

Strommen remains deeply engaged as both a clinician and a commissioned composer, regularly working with ensembles at all levels. He divides his time between Long Island and Colorado, where he maintains close connections with his extended family.
