Jennifer Linn brings three decades of teaching experience to her work as a pianist, composer, and arranger. She has developed over 300 published compositions and arrangements through major publishers including Alfred, G. Schirmer, Hal Leonard, and Music Sales America, while simultaneously maintaining an active teaching studio and serving as a pedagogy instructor at the university level. Her work has taken her across the United States, Canada, and India, where she leads clinics and master classes for music educators and students.
Linn holds both a B.M. with distinction and an M.M. in piano performance from the UMKC Conservatory of Music, where she won the Concerto-Aria competition and received the Vice Chancellor's award for academic excellence. Her contributions to music education earned her the 2013 UMKC Alumni of the Year award, and in 2020 she received the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. From 2009 to 2019, she served as Manager of Educational Piano at Hal Leonard, a role that deepened her understanding of what students and teachers actually need.
