Ralph Ford has built a prolific career as a composer and arranger spanning multiple decades and media. Born in 1963, he served on the music faculty at Troy State University for fifteen years, where he taught orchestration, arranging, theory, and applied brass while also directing the jazz ensemble. Since 1999, Ford has worked exclusively as a composer and arranger for Alfred Music's Belwin division in Los Angeles.
