About the Arranger: Scott Watson
Scott Watson brings nearly four decades of classroom experience to his role as Associate Professor of Music at Cairn University. Before joining higher education, he shaped instrumental programs across the Parkland School District near Allentown, Pennsylvania, where he directed high school bands and built the elementary strings and band curriculum from the ground up.
Watson has established himself as a prolific composer whose voice spans both contemporary concert music and the band world. His more than 120 published works have reached audiences at venues ranging from the Philadelphia Academy of Music to the White House, while his textbook on music technology (Oxford University Press) has become standard in music education circles. He serves as exclusive composer and clinician for Alfred Publications and regularly leads festivals and honor bands nationwide.
