Joseph M. Martin holds degrees in piano performance from Furman University and the University of Texas at Austin, where he also taught in the Piano Pedagogy Department for five years. His performance career has taken him across concert halls and symphony stages in the United States and Mexico, including a competition win that led to performances with the Guadalajara Symphony Orchestra and a nationally broadcast recital.
Today, Martin directs his considerable talents toward church music and conference work, composing and arranging with a breadth that spans from Carnegie Hall to sanctuaries across North America. Based in Austin, Texas, he has built a reputation for surprising audiences with the variety and emotional depth of his musical output.
