Andy Beck serves as Director of Choral Publications at Alfred Music, where he has shaped the choral landscape with over 450 compositions and arrangements now in active use. His work spans secular choral pieces, vocal resources, children's musicals, and pedagogical tools including Sing at First Sight, Foundations in Choral Sight Singing, and Vocalize! 45 Vocal Warm-Ups That Teach Technique. A accomplished tenor and musical theatre director, Beck brings practical performance experience to every score he creates.

Beck's influence extends far beyond publication. He maintains an active schedule as guest conductor, choreographer, adjudicator, and clinician across the United States and internationally, with recent commissions and conducting appearances at all-state honor choirs throughout the Southeast. His degrees in Music Education from Ithaca College and Northwest Missouri State University, combined with his long tenure as an Alfred Music studio singer since 1992, ground his work in both pedagogical rigor and artistic integrity.
