Melody Bober brings two decades of public school teaching experience and additional university-level instruction to her work as a composer and clinician. She holds a bachelor's degree in music education from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana (graduating summa cum laude) and a Master of Arts in piano performance from Minnesota State University, Moorhead. Her mentors included pianist Joel Shapiro and Andrew Froelich, alongside music educator Mary Hoffman and jazz instructor Tony Caramia.
Beyond composing, Bober maintains an active private piano studio while serving as church pianist, accompanist, and former music director. Her reputation as an innovative composer and dynamic clinician has made her a frequent guest at piano teacher conventions and workshops throughout North America. She currently resides in Minnesota.
