About the Arranger: Victor C. Johnson
Victor C. Johnson brings two decades of hands-on choral direction to his work as School Choral Editor for Sing!, the educational publishing division of Choristers Guild. During his tenure at Ft. Worth Academy of Fine Arts from 2000 to 2018, he shaped the musical development of young singers across multiple ensembles, including the Academy Singers, Academy Men's Choir, and the Singing Girls of Texas.
With over 500 published choral works, vocal solos, and keyboard collections in print, Johnson has established himself as a prolific voice in contemporary choral writing. His influence extends beyond publishing: since August 2022, he has served as conductor of the Dallas Symphony Children's Chorus Mixed Ensemble, working with advanced high school singers in the resident children's choir of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. His professional involvement with the American Choral Directors Association, Texas Music Educators Association, and ASCAP reflects his deep commitment to the choral art.
