Victor C. Johnson brings decades of choral leadership to his work as an arranger and composer. Based in Dallas, he served as choral director at Ft. Worth Academy of Fine Arts from 2000 to 2018, where he led multiple ensembles including the Academy Singers, Academy Men's Choir, and the Singing Girls of Texas. His current role as School Choral Editor for Sing! (the educational publishing division of Choristers Guild) reflects his deep commitment to choral music education and repertoire development.

With more than 500 published choral works, vocal solos, and keyboard collections to his name, Johnson has established himself as a trusted voice in the field. He currently conducts the Dallas Symphony Children's Chorus Mixed Ensemble, serving as the resident conductor for this advanced high school ensemble. His professional involvement spans the American Choral Directors Association, Texas Music Educators Association, National Association for Music Education, and ASCAP.
