A joyous, soulful Christmas setting by Mark Hayes. The spirited, syncopated opening, "Sing gloria!" leads to a lyrical, contrasting B section with call and response between the women's and men's voices. Then, Mark ingeniously adapts the traditional carol, "Joy to the World," arranging it with all of the energetic fervor of the opening. Modulating, ringing bells tones on "Sing! Sing! Sing!" mark the return of the original themes for a glorious finale. (Optional InstruPax available separately).
