Penny Rodriguez began her musical journey at age 6, learning piano in Peru while her parents worked as missionaries. She pursued formal training at Moody/American Conservatory of Music, earning a degree in piano performance and establishing herself as a pianist, composer, and recording artist.

Over her career, Rodriguez has published numerous piano works and choral compositions. In recent years, she has concentrated on art songs for solo voice and piano, drawing on classic poetry to create thoughtful vocal literature. Her discography includes 11 albums. She resides in the Indianapolis area with her husband, Dave, and finds her greatest fulfillment in time spent with their grandchildren.
