Barry Milner composes for concert band, orchestra, and film, with an extensive catalog of works performed in educational settings across the United States. His compositions appear on state solo and ensemble lists, and his music has been featured in The Instrumentalist, School Band and Orchestra Magazine, and JWPepper's editors' selections. Notable works include "An Unending Legacy" and "In Honor of the Fallen," both published by Alfred.
Milner has taught at Eureka Springs School District in Arkansas while continuing to develop his compositional voice. He draws creative energy from travel to national parks and from film scoring, and he is currently at work on orchestral pieces including "Beside Still Waters" and "Elfstones: Part II."
