Chris Sharp holds a doctorate in music and brings decades of professional experience as a composer, arranger, and orchestrator to his writing. His career spans eleven years as a performing trombonist and bandleader at Walt Disney World, followed by continuous work arranging and orchestrating for Disney parks globally since 1984. His credits extend to Universal Studios, the Boston Pops, the Dallas Brass, and the USAF Airmen of Note, with compositions and arrangements regularly performed at the Midwest Clinic and recognized by multiple ASCAPlus awards.

Sharp teaches at Polk State College in Winter Haven, Florida, where he directs the bands program and instructs music theory, technology, and arranging. His dual expertise as both an active educator and seasoned professional clinician, adjudicator, and guest conductor gives him a deep understanding of what works in ensemble settings across middle school, high school, and college levels.
