About the Arranger: Carl Strommen
Carl Strommen's arrangements and compositions span band, orchestra, jazz ensemble, and vocal literature, earning him recognition as one of the most frequently performed composer/arrangers in North America and abroad. His music appears regularly in concert halls, on television, and in film, and he maintains an active schedule as a clinician and commission writer, consistently receiving the annual ASCAP Standard Writers Award for his prolific output.
A City College of New York alumnus, Strommen remains engaged with music education as an adjunct professor of orchestration and composition at C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University. He divides his time between Long Island and the Colorado Front Range with his family.
