About the Composer: Vince Gassi

Vince Gassi has established himself as a prolific composer and conductor whose work spans more than 100 published titles. Educated at the University of Western Ontario and the Dick Grove School of Music in Los Angeles, Gassi completed advanced studies with a Ph.D. from York University in Toronto. For over two decades, he taught instrumental music at the elementary and secondary levels while building a reputation as a guest conductor, adjudicator, and clinician throughout North America.

Gassi's compositional voice balances accessibility with musical substance, a quality that has earned his pieces regular performances at festivals and contests internationally. He conducts workshops on creative engagement and digital workflows for music directors, and his commissions have been performed across North America, Europe, and Japan. His pieces appear frequently on the Midwest Clinic program in Chicago.
