About the Arranger: Brian Beck
Brian Beck is a composer and arranger whose concert band works have earned consistent recognition from major music education organizations. His compositions have received "Reviewer's Choice" honors from The Instrumentalist and J. W. Pepper, appeared in TMEA Honor Band concerts and Western International Band clinics, and been featured in the GIA Publications series Teaching Music Through Performance In Band. His music regularly appears on state UIL prescribed lists and festival catalogues across the Midwest and Texas.
Beck's experience as a band director at both middle and high school levels informs his writing for student ensembles. He has directed bands that earned Superior ratings at UIL contests, qualified as TMEA State Honor Band finalists, and received invitations to perform at prestigious festivals including The Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic in Chicago. He holds degrees in Music Education from Texas A&M University-Commerce and the University of Houston.
