About the Arranger: Joseph M. Martin
Joseph M. Martin studied piano performance at Furman University and earned his master's degree from the University of Texas at Austin, where he also taught in the Piano Pedagogy Department for five years. A solo recitalist and featured performer with orchestras across the United States and Mexico, he won the Nina Plant Wideman Competition and performed with the Guadalajara Symphony Orchestra. His music has reached audiences from Carnegie Hall to hundreds of churches throughout North America.
Martin's career has evolved from the concert stage toward service in churches and at conferences for church musicians. His arrangements and compositions span a remarkable range of styles and settings, performed everywhere from the Mel Tillis Theatre in Branson to weekly worship services. He continues to live in Austin, Texas with his wife Sue and their children Jonathan and Aubrey.
