Dan Adams

Dan Adams brings three decades of teaching experience from his tenure as Band and Orchestra director at Wooster City Schools in Ohio, where he also served as Instrumental Music Coordinator. Earlier in his career, he taught at Mount Anthony Union High School in Bennington, Vermont. His formal training includes a Bachelor of Music Education from The Ohio State University (trombone) and a Master of Music in Band Conducting from Northwestern University, where he studied under John Paynter.

Adams has established himself as an active adjudicator, brass performer, and conductor with memberships in the Ohio Music Education Association, NAfME, ASCAP, College Band Directors National Association, and the American Federation of Musicians. His compositions have earned recognition at The Midwest Band Clinic and Western International Band Clinic, received multiple J.W. Pepper Editors' Choice selections, and been featured in Bandworld's Top 100, with performances reaching audiences internationally.
