Rossano Galante began his musical training as a trumpet performer, earning his Bachelor of Arts from SUNY Buffalo in 1992 before pursuing advanced composition study at the University of Southern California's prestigious Film Scoring Program under the mentorship of Academy Award-winning composer Jerry Goldsmith. His career has spanned three decades of orchestration work across major studio films including the Avengers and Fast X franchises, collaborating with composers like Marco Beltrami and Brian Tyler on over eighty productions.
Beyond his accomplished film work, Galante maintains an active presence in the concert music world, with more than 68 published compositions for band and orchestra distributed through major publishers including Alfred, Schirmer, and Curnow. His concert band writing draws directly from his orchestration expertise, bringing cinematic sophistication and structural clarity to educational ensembles.
