About the Composer: Victor Labenske

Victor Labenske holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in piano performance from the University of Southern California, where he studied with Stewart Gordon, and a master's degree in piano performance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music under Joanne Baker. He has taught piano and composition at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego and remains active as both a solo recitalist and collaborative pianist, frequently presenting keyboard workshops and performing sacred concerts.

Labenske's compositional catalog exceeds 700 published works spanning multiple difficulty levels and genres. His chamber compositions have been commissioned for national conferences, and his sacred collections include the Sunday Morning Companion library and Play Praise, a graded piano series of contemporary worship music. He has contributed scholarship to American Music Teacher, Piano Magazine, and California Music Teacher.
