About the Composer: Bob Cerulli

Bob Cerulli studied double bass at Curtis Institute of Music under Roger Scott, then earned degrees in music education from the University of the Arts and conducting from the College of New Jersey. His performing career included principal bass positions with the Greater Trenton Symphony, New Jersey Capital Philharmonic Orchestra, and Delaware Valley Philharmonic Orchestra, alongside work with the Buffalo Philharmonic and freelance engagements in Philadelphia and Atlantic City with major film composers and recording artists.

Cerulli's compositions have been performed by regional orchestras and soloists, including his orchestral work Celebration and Romance in D Major, which Philadelphia Orchestra Principal Cellist William Stokking premiered. After 29 years in public school music education, he became a Senior Adjunct Professor at Rowan College at Burlington County and has led orchestral reading sessions and performances at regional music festivals.
