Patterns in Pitch Set

Patterns in Pitch, the companion program for Patterns in Rhythm, is a two-part aural-visual program. Part 1, The Composer, allows a user to create pitch patterns in treble or bass clef. Part 2, The Dictator, plays pitch patterns, based on the key and number of pitches selected by the user, which must be notated on the computer. Level I uses the keys C, G, and F with up to eight notes in the series. Level II adds D, A, B-flat and E-flat and plays up to 12 pitches. In Level III the user may choose any major or minor key and up to 12 pitches to be played.
