About the Composer: Greg Gilpin
Greg Gilpin brings two decades of choral expertise to his compositions and arrangements, earning ASCAP recognition for his contributions to the field. He has conducted performances at major venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Sydney Opera House, establishing himself as both a respected conductor and prolific composer for choral ensembles.
Beyond the concert hall, Gilpin has shaped choral education as Director of Educational Choral Publications for Shawnee Press. His creative reach extends to film scoring and collaborative projects with professional singers; in 2021, he composed the award-winning score for "Rosie's Rescue" and collaborated on a world premiere arrangement with soprano Angela Brown. He holds active membership in ACDA, NAfME, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.
