In 1985, Donnelly met collaborator George L.O. Strid during a team-taught sixth grade music class. What began as a creative challenge from their principal evolved into a prolific partnership spanning over two hundred compositions and twenty-five theatrical works. Both active members of ACDA and ASCAP, Donnelly and Strid have built a catalog specifically designed for young singers and school ensembles.
