Mary K. Sallee

Mary K. Sallee holds degrees in piano and voice from the University of Oklahoma, including a master's degree in piano performance and pedagogy. She spent a year studying at the Hochschule für Musik in Vienna as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar, an experience that shaped her approach to both performance and teaching.

For nearly four decades, Sallee has maintained a private piano studio in Norman, Oklahoma, with a focus on adult learners. She has taught as adjunct faculty at Oklahoma Baptist University and served in leadership roles with the Oklahoma Music Teachers Association and the Music Teachers National Association. Her compositional output spans 60 published works; she writes extensively for her students and arranges vocal and choral music through her Acoustic Press imprint. Beyond the studio, she works as a clinician, adjudicator, conductor, and active participant in church music, chamber ensembles, and jazz performance.
