About the Arranger: Jack Bullock
Jack Bullock brings decades of professional experience across performance, composition, and education to his work as an arranger. A trumpet player who performed with the Miami Philharmonic Orchestra and Miami Opera Company, as well as with regional and touring ensembles, he earned degrees in Music Education at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. His prolific catalog includes over 600 published works spanning concert band, orchestra, jazz ensemble, and marching band.
Bullock spent 20 years teaching instrumental music in schools and universities, including seven years as assistant band director at Ithaca College's School of Music, where he also chaired the Music Education Department. He co-authored the Belwin 21st Century Band Method and contributed arrangements to Music Expressions, an innovative curriculum by Alfred Music. A longtime ASCAP member since 1980, he has conducted clinics and workshops throughout North America and Europe.
