About the Composer: Steve Hodges

Steve Hodges studied music education at Western Oregon University and Central Washington University, earning both his bachelor's and master's degrees. After four decades directing bands, choirs, and ensembles across public schools, he transitioned to full-time composition and has since published more than 120 concert band works through Alfred Music, along with choral arrangements through Staff Music and Shawnee Press.

Hodges' compositions have appeared at festivals and state conventions worldwide and have been commissioned by honor bands and schools throughout North America. His music has also reached audiences through TBS and ESPN television broadcasts. A member of ASCAP, Hodges now lives in The Dalles, Oregon, where he remains active in community music alongside his extended family.
