Melody Bober brings two decades of public school teaching experience and advanced training in both piano performance and music education to her composing work. She holds degrees from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana (B.M. in music education, summa cum laude) and Minnesota State University, Moorhead (M.A. in piano performance), studying under accomplished pianists Joel Shapiro and Andrew Froelich alongside educators Mary Hoffman and jazz pianist Tony Caramia.

Beyond her private studio teaching, Bober has served as a church pianist, accompanist, and music director. Her reputation as both a clinician and composer has made her a sought-after presenter at piano teacher conventions and workshops across North America, where she continues to share her philosophy of building student musicianship through thoughtfully crafted repertoire.
