About the Composer: Carl Strommen

Carl Strommen stands among the most frequently performed composer-arrangers across band, orchestra, jazz band, and vocal music in the United States and internationally. His works appear regularly in concert halls, on television, and in film, and he maintains an active schedule as both a clinician and commission writer. His output has earned him the annual ASCAP Standard Writers Award throughout his career.

Strommen holds a degree from the City College of New York and currently serves as an adjunct professor of orchestration and composition at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University in Brookville, NY. He lives on Long Island with his family and spends significant time in Denver and Boulder, Colorado.
