Musical Stairs

Musical Stairs is an aural-visual drill-and-practice game designed to introduce intervallic relationships to the young student. The program utilizes a piano keyboard with a treble and bass clef to quiz randomly selected numeric intervals within one octave on the 'white keys.' The question is notated on the staff and musically reproduced through the MIDI synthesizer. The user answers by playing the keyboard. The program includes student scores and a Hall of Fame section.
