There he completed a Master's degree in composition studying with Dr. Rodney Rogers and Dr. Jody Rockmaker, developing expertise across band and choral writing while simultaneously building a portfolio in television and film composition.

Beyond the concert hall, Bell has applied his musical skills in the entertainment industry, serving as Entertainment Manager at The SHOUT! House Dueling Piano bar in Glendale, Arizona. This dual focus on both classical composition and commercial music work informs his approach to accessible, engaging writing for young ensembles.
