About the Arranger: Mark Williams
Mark Williams built his reputation as one of the most prolific and trusted voices in school band music, with over 200 published compositions for winds, brass, and choir to his name. A product of Eastern Washington University and the U.S. Air Force Band's arranging tradition, Williams spent decades teaching elementary band in Washington while simultaneously maintaining a clinical presence across North America and Australia, earning recognition from ASCAP and the Western International Band Clinic.
Beyond his compositional output, Williams co-authored the Accent on Achievement Band Method, a foundational resource for countless music programs. He balanced his writing and conducting schedule with active performance on bassoon and leadership of the Spokane British Brass Band, embodying the complete musician-educator his arrangements reflect.
