About the Composer: Tyler S. Grant

Tyler S. Grant composes and arranges music for concert bands, orchestras, and chamber ensembles across all difficulty levels. His works appear regularly on state and regional honor ensemble programs, and multiple titles have earned recognition on prestigious repertoire lists internationally. His fanfare Panoramic Fanfare won the Dallas Wind Symphony's 2014 "Call for Fanfares" Competition and has since received performances by collegiate and professional ensembles throughout North America.

As both a conductor and clinician, Grant has worked with more than 100 school instrumental programs and honor groups across 15 states, and his conducting has been featured at The Midwest Clinic and all-state bands throughout the country. He holds a bachelor's degree in instrumental music education from the University of Alabama, where he studied conducting with Randall Coleman, and he credits composer Brian Balmages as essential to his development as a musician. Since 2010, Grant has maintained a steady output of commissions and new publications for bands and orchestras.
