Another stunning Latin flavored opener by Victor Lopez. After a bold fanfare opening and a dynamic theme, the piece breaks into a nice 'classical' sounding contrapuntal section. Victor has varied the texture with the use of a small group, followed by a nice trumpet solo and then duet. The tension is finally released with a huge push into the final chords.
