Greg Gilpin

Greg Gilpin stands out as both a prolific composer and a conductor who has shaped choral music across North America and beyond. His work has been performed at prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Ryman Auditorium, Sydney Opera House, Royal Festival Hall, and Harpa Concert Hall. As an ASCAP award-winning composer and Director of Educational Choral Publications for Shawnee Press, Gilpin has built a reputation for writing music that challenges and inspires singers at all levels.

Beyond the concert hall, Gilpin's career reflects the versatility expected of today's musicians. He holds credentials as a financial coach and professional organizer, founded Maestro Organizing, and has appeared on Fox and NBC network programming as well as the television series "Hoarders." In 2021, he composed the score for the award-winning short film "Rosie's Rescue" and collaborated with opera singer Angela Brown on a new arrangement of "What Child is This?" premiered by the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir. Gilpin remains active in ACDA, NAfME, SAG-AFTRA, and maintains Life Loyal membership in Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.
