About the Composer: Brian Beck

Brian Beck is a composer and arranger whose music appears regularly on state honor band rosters, festival programs, and UIL prescribed music lists across the country. His works have earned recognition as "Reviewer's Choice" selections and "Best New Concert Band Music" awards, and have been featured in Teaching Music Through Performance In Band and other professional publications. Beck brings classroom experience to his writing, having directed bands at middle and high schools in Texas where his ensembles consistently earned superior ratings and competed at state level competitions.

Beck holds degrees in Music Education from Texas A&M University-Commerce and the University of Houston. Beyond composing, he works as a clinician and educator for both instrumental and vocal programs, and his arrangements and original compositions have been recorded and performed at regional and national conferences including the Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic.
