Mark Hayes has established himself as a prolific force in choral and sacred music, with over 1,750 published works spanning concert piano, orchestration, and composition. A summa cum laude graduate in Piano Performance from Baylor University, Hayes has conducted prestigious venues including Lincoln Center, the National Cathedral, and Carnegie Hall, premiering major works like his Requiem at Lincoln Center in 2013 and again at St. Ignatius Basilica in Rome as part of a Vatican-sponsored festival in 2014.
Beyond the concert hall, Hayes balances serious composition with an expansive catalog of accessible piano books covering gospel, classical, jazz, and Broadway styles. His work extends into musical theater orchestration and arrangement, including the hit musical Madame Buttermilk and We'll Meet Again.
