About the Composer: Tyler S. Grant
Tyler S. Grant has built a reputation as a composer and arranger whose works appear regularly on honor ensemble programs and repertoire lists across North America and internationally. His commissions span concert bands, orchestras, and chamber ensembles; his Panoramic Fanfare won the Dallas Wind Symphony's 2014 "Call for Fanfares" Competition and has since been performed by collegiate and professional ensembles throughout the continent.
Beyond the composing desk, Grant maintains an active schedule as a clinician and conductor, having worked with over 100 school programs across 15 states and appeared at major venues including The Midwest Clinic, Carnegie Hall, and the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. He earned his bachelor's degree in instrumental music education from the University of Alabama, where he studied conducting with Randall Coleman, and credits composer Brian Balmages as essential to his artistic development.
