About the Composer: Vince Gassi
Vince Gassi has been composing for Alfred Music since 2006 and has amassed over 100 published works that consistently appear on international festival and contest programs. His teaching career spans twenty-five years across elementary and secondary instrumental music, informed by formal training that includes a Bachelor of Music from the University of Western Ontario, advanced study at the Dick Grove School of Music in Los Angeles, and a Ph.D. from York University in Toronto.
Gassi is recognized as a clinician, guest conductor, and adjudicator throughout North America, leading seminars on creative engagement and digital workflows for music directors. His works have been performed and recorded across North America, Europe, and Japan, with frequent presentations at the Midwest Clinic in Chicago.
