Jorge Bolet Memorial Editions, Volume I: Selected Works by Franz Liszt

CPP/Belwin proudly announces a first in music publishing -- a true performer's edition. World-renowned concert pianist Jorge Bolet was a master of the keyboard, and distinguished for his technique and pedaling. After his death, his library went to his prize pupil Teresa Escandon who is on the faculty at the University of Miami. Dr. Escandon has compiled this first edition of works by Liszt which were among Bolet's most often performed and recorded. In this volume and those to follow, Bolet's actual markings, changes, added octaves, filled-in chords, pedalings and suggested dramatic dynamics are given so that the advanced pianist will gain new insight into Bolet's performance practices.
