About the Composer: Nick Myers
Nick Myers (b. 1987) studied musical theatre composition at NYU's Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program, where he earned his degree in 2012. Since then, he has established himself as a composer, orchestrator, and producer whose work spans concert halls, Broadway stages, and regional theatre productions. His credits include assisting Tom Kitt on the Broadway production of IF/THEN and producing shows such as BRING IT ON and TRACES. Myers received recognition as a 2012-2013 Dramatist Guild Fellow alongside writing partner Sarah Hirsch for their collaborative works.
Beyond the theatre world, Myers maintains deep roots in sacred music and community. He serves as organist and music director at St Nicholas of Tolentine Church in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and leads the New York Theatre Organ Society as its Chair. His compositional reach extends across multiple genres, with commissions for choral works alongside his ongoing musical theatre projects. His music has been performed in prominent venues including Carnegie Hall.
